New Dystopian Books to Read in 2014

Happy early New Years!

One of my favourite things about the new year is looking forward to all the books I get to read! Whether new release or a newly-discovered old favourite, it’s always exciting to explore the vast world of books. here are some for you to read in 2014:

1. After the Fear by Rosanne Rivers.  If you haven’t read it yet, you should. This novel, released last January, is definitely one of the best dystopian novels out there, comparable to The Hunger Games and Divergent. Exciting and packed with suspense, political intrigue, and romance.

2. Aberrant by Ruth Silver. This novel is a quick-paced and enjoyable read, perfect for your early-morning commute.

3. Morai and Isaura by Ruth Silver.  These novels, numbers 2 and 3 in the trilogy, respectively, build on the suspense, romance, and surprises  that Aberrant established, leading to a satisfying conclusion.

4. Red Rising by Pierce Brown. I’m super excited by this one, which advance praise claims to be as exciting as Ender’s Game and The Hunger Games. Right now I have it as an ARC, so y’all can expect a review within a few weeks.

Happy Reading! And please leave me a comment if you have any other dystopian novels you’d like me to blog about.
